The Wallet
Progressive complexity. The first step is wallet-as-identity: a browser extension you install because I asked you to. Seeing who uses it as an identity gives an overview of basic trust. The second step is a deliberately limited wallet — a few functions, bounded loss — for people new to crypto. The third is attestation and a pass-through on top of a wallet like Phantom for the crypto-native.
Why it's built this way
The first trust relationship is identity, and it should cost nothing. No funding required, no risk required — just install the extension because you were asked. From there the wallet earns the right to handle money by being deliberately boring and bounded first. Crypto is bad at unbounded risk, and that's how you end up with disasters.
